Hello! My name is
I'm a freelance illustrator who lives, draws and paints in Toronto, Canada. I was born in Sri Lanka, raised in Scarborough, and have been making art for as long as I can remember. I studied film at Ryerson University and Independent Illustration at Seneca College. I've worked with a number of clients, including Readers’ Digest, the Walrus, the Globe & Mail, and the CBC.
I have a husband (Michael), two cats (Victoria and Albert) and four tattoos (yes, you may see them). I enjoy illustrating (seems obvious), puttering about the kitchen (I make great pies!), reading (favourite book: White Teeth), musicals (favourite musical: Ragtime), records (favourite album: Nina Simone at Newport) and tchotchkes (especially Figgjo Flint ceramics from Norway). I dislike jazz flute, the Dufferin Bus and people who talk at length about their diets.
